What is InMemory? InMemory is a teaching campaign done in the name of all those who have given their lives for the progress of our beloved cause. The first time it was launched was the summer of 2002. Thirty-Five youth came and actively participated to further the progress of the Baha’i Faith. Last year, the team of Thirty-Five youth was situated in Baha’is homes in Issaquah Washington. Its main purpose was to unite local Baha’i youth of Washington, through service, and enhance the capabilities of all the participants as active teachers, and tutors. We were given the opportunity to spend a few days with counselor Huerta, who helped guide us in our efforts, not only during the teaching campaign, but in the following year through study circles, and devotional meetings. We learned through National Spiritual Assembly Member, Dr. Young “How to effectively teach Christians,” and used these techniques in our teaching efforts throughout the 19 day teaching campaign, and upon our return home. These youth thoroughly enjoyed the project, became tutors by taking Ruhi book 7, and left the project with a passion to continue their teaching and consolidation efforts. Half of the participants were local youth and pre-youth, however many came from other states, and countries, some coming from as far as Norway, and Togo. Now, this year, we wish to continue these efforts, with the launching of InMemory 2003.
